Grants from the 2017 Hudson Wine Festival will be accepted from August 1, 2017 to September 1, 2017 and are limited to those organizations that are approved as a benefactor by Connecting For A Cause prior to March 1, 2017. Any grants received after the deadline or without complete information will not be reviewed. Organizations that exhibit collaboration with Connecting for a Cause on fundraising efforts will be given priority when grants are considered. Collaboration is defined as event participation in areas such as volunteer recruitment, revenue generation, ticket sales, marketing and general event support. Our organization will track volunteers, revenue generation and ticket sales. Please include any examples of marketing and general event support you would like considered as part of your collaboration.
Grants will generally be made in the $500 to $5,000 range, although requests outside either end of this range will be considered. Applications will be reviewed next in late September, 2017 with responses mailed out by November 1, 2017.
Grants provided by CFAC from the Hudson Wine Festival must be used for specific projects that directly benefit animal welfare including cruelty, abandonment, rehabilitation and adoption projects or military support for current, past and present military members and their families. Funds may not be used for capital projects, office expenses, general marketing, salaries or general operating expenses. Preference will be given to well-defined projects with clear goals and objectives.
